Voice Mail

Voice mail, also known as voice message service, uses a centralized system. When you are not available to answer a call or if the phone is turned off, it is automatically transferred to your voice mail.
  1. You can be able to receive messages 24 hours a day, allowing you to communicate effectively.
  2. You can have the privacy to review your messages without anyone listening.
  3. Security is not an issue with your voice mailbox. Mailboxes are password protected. Your password should not be a number that others know.
  4. You can customize your own greeting.
  5. You can check your voice mail anywhere and on any phone. The only requirement is the phone you are using must have touchtone capability.
  6. The call waiting feature is still available. While you are on the phone, you have the option of answering the second call, or allowing voice mail to answer your call.
  7. With voice mail, you can send one message to a group of people.
  8. After you review your message, you have the option of copying, forwarding, saving or deleting the message.
  9. Voice mail is a centralized service. It will ensure your voice mail profile is not disrupted during an outage.
  10. Voice mail provides higher quality recording than standard answering machines.
To access your voice mailbox, simply dial the code given by your long distance carrier or local carrier. You will hear a prompt on when you want to receive the message.
