How to use 1010 service
When making a long distance call using 1010 numbers, you need to start by signing up with a long distance carrier that provides this service so that your telephone number is on the company’s database. Once you have signed up for service, follow the directions they gave you, or use the generic 1010 calling steps below.

Pick up the phone. Dial 1010-XXX where XXX is the rest of the 1010 numbers. Then dial the number as you regularly would.
